The transfer landscape in Bavaria comprises a large number of important players: universities and colleges (with their transfer offices), technology and start-up centers, clusters, networks, institutions such as BayStartup or the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency, and much more. As the Bavarian Society for Innovation and Knowledge and Technology Transfer, Bayern Innovativ aims to play a guiding role in transfer and thus create added value for all stakeholders in knowledge and technology transfer.
To this end, Bayern Innovativ offers a platform for networking all stakeholders with the TRANSFERleben event. With the Expert Network Bavaria, Bayern Innovativ also uses the possibilities of artificial intelligence to digitally accelerate the transfer of knowledge and technology within the Bavarian innovation ecosystem.

For companies, Bayern Innovativ is the thematic guide that brings companies together with the right partners, e.g. transfer offices, and strategically connects them in networks. Bayern Innovativ is therefore a networker within the ecosystem on the one hand and a guide for companies on the other.
Our vision is to further develop knowledge and technology transfer together with all stakeholders in order to increase innovation activity in Bavaria.

International Scouting project
Identification and evaluation of international technology trends for the innovation state of Bavaria
What technological trends and innovations are there in foreign markets and how relevant are they for Bavarian companies? Where are Bavarian technologies particularly attractive for export to other countries around the world? In which areas are there still strategic gaps in the Bavarian economy that can be closed by technologies from abroad, for example by attracting companies to Bavaria?
This is precisely the kind of question we want to answer with our new International Scouting project in collaboration with various foreign trade partners. Our aim is to use a structured scouting process to search for the most important technological trends and innovations in foreign priority regions for Bavaria as a state of innovation, to evaluate them from the perspective of the Bavarian economy by proven experts and, after analyzing the results, to draw strategic conclusions for the future design of foreign trade promotion measures.
