As part of the Bavarian Semiconductor Initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, the Bavarian Chips Alliance contributes to strengthening the industry and Bavaria as a business location.
BAVARIAN CHIPS ALLIANCE - Shaping a semiconductor ecosystem together
In order to further strengthen the industry and the business location and make supply chains more resilient, Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger launched the Bavarian Semiconductor Initiative in fall 2021. One of the main pillars of this initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is the BAVARIAN CHIPS ALLIANCE network.
The central aim of this semiconductor network is to promote exchange and cooperation between partners in the semiconductor value chain as well as with science and users. Bayern Innovativ coordinates the BAVARIAN CHIPS ALLIANCE with the involvement of existing cluster and network structures, brings the players together to form a Bavaria-wide semiconductor ecosystem and networks the activities - at national, European and international level. We look forward to your active involvement and participation in the network.

Information about technologies and competencies
A better understanding of the semiconductor industry, its players, their competencies and the importance for the Free State of Bavaria as a location for semiconductors and their applications is our central concern. We want to utilize synergy effects by continuously supporting research and development activities, promoting innovations and strengthening the industry in the development of competencies and involving user industries at an early stage.
We will provide information on trends and new technologies, present Bavaria's expertise in a transparent manner and provide regular updates on activities in the semiconductor ecosystem under News:

Take advantage of our competence map and the opportunity for exchange and networking, even outside of events. You can actively help shape and plan all topics relevant to semiconductors. In innovative workshops, the first important impulses were provided on the core topics of 'Training and specialists', 'Industrial application' and 'Chip design'.
Help shape upcoming workshops and seminars as well as the Alliance's collaboration and contribute new topics.
In addition to the new impulses, the congresses and symposia offer the opportunity for personal networking with other players in the application and value chain of the semiconductor industry.
