Cooperation between Composites United e.V. and Bayern Innovativ

At the symposium Shaping Tomorrow: Automation. Robotics. Humanoids. on April 21, 2026, experts from industry, research and development met at the Augsburg Innovation Park to discuss current trends and future prospects in robotics and automation.
The Composites United e.V. event focused in particular on the rapid advances in the fields of humanoid robotics, intelligent motion control and adaptive gripping systems. It became clear how closely modern materials, innovative drive technologies and AI-based systems are interlinked to enable new industrial applications.
A highlight of the symposium was the keynote speech by Dominik Bösl, who highlighted the increasing convergence of machines with human characteristics in his presentation and also focused on social and ethical issues.
The event also provided a platform for interdisciplinary exchange between companies, research institutions and technology users and showcased practical applications - from industry and mobility to service and care contexts.
The two innovation networks Materials and Production from Bayern Innovativ were also represented on site, together with the New Materials and Mechatronics & Automation clusters. They used the event to promote knowledge transfer and further strengthen the dialog between the stakeholders.
