Dr Barbara Giehmann has many years’ experience in cluster, project and innovation management, as well as in organisational development. During her career to date, she has held positions including Head of the Lake Constance Cluster Initiative and the Environmental Technology Network, Project Manager at the Bavarian Environmental Cluster, Project Leader at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Business Development Manager, and Consultant at a management consultancy. In addition, she worked at the Bavarian Research Alliance in the field of European research and innovation funding for SMEs.

Since 2022, she has been working as a project manager for EU projects and international activities at Bayern Innovativ, currently within the Production Innovation Network in the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster and in the Innovation Services Europe & International division.
