Digital SaaS platform for sustainable audiovisual productions wanted
April 16, 2026
A Spanish SME specializing in sustainability consulting for the audiovisual industry is looking for a technology partner to develop a web-based SaaS platform. This is intended to systematically record, reduce and transparently present the ecological footprint of film and television productions. The platform is aimed at production companies, broadcasters and streaming services and digitizes proven sustainability methods in a central tool.
The core functions include user and project management for multi-project environments, the creation and monitoring of sustainability plans with checklists and document uploads, a CO₂- footprint calculation based on data on transport, energy and materials as well as interactive dashboards for visualizing environmental impacts. This is to be supplemented by a geolocation module for evaluating filming locations in relation to nature conservation areas using public geodata and automated report generation in downloadable formats.
In addition, the platform will have a modular structure to enable future extensions such as data validation, anomaly detection, report automation or the integration of external environmental databases. The Spanish company brings extensive industry knowledge to the table, including international standards and practical experience from production environments.
Wanted partners and forms of cooperation
We are looking for partners with expertise in the development of scalable web platforms, backend/frontend programming, database design, calculation modules, GIS integration and data visualization. Experience in sustainability tools or the audio industry is advantageous.
The cooperation starts with the creation of a minimum viable product (MVP) and aims at scalability for other sectors such as events or advertising.
Commercial agreements with technical support as well as research and development collaborations with universities or R&D institutions or companies of any size are sought.
