Seeking Partners for Battery Testing in European R&D Projects
October 19, 2026
An Austrian company specializing in battery testing offers validation services for materials, cells, modules, and battery systems throughout the entire development cycle—from early-stage material validation to pre-certification testing.
’s Services The company operates a laboratory in Styria equipped with fire-resistant test chambers for battery systems up to 250 kWh. Its core competencies include abuse tests, as well as short-circuit, nail penetration, crush, drop, and immersion tests, along with analyses of thermal runaway. In addition, the company offers degradation and lifespan tests under realistic operating conditions, state-of-health diagnostics, and second-life assessments of vehicle batteries. The testing systems were developed in-house and can be flexibly adapted to different cell chemistries, sensor technologies, test conditions, and data acquisition methods. The SME provides high-quality experimental data for modeling, simulation, and the development of digital twins. It also supports the validation of sustainable and bio-based battery materials, thermal management materials, lightweight structures, and designs for reuse and recycling.
Seeking Cooperation/Partners
The company is seeking long-term cooperation partners from research institutions, universities, industry, and development for transnational R&D projects, for example within the framework of Horizon Europe, CETP, Eureka, or Ira-SME. The company would like to actively participate in the proposal submission process, the integration of testing and validation, and collaboration on materials, systems, and modeling. The goal is to establish a research and development cooperation agreement.
