Share your success story from the Energy Efficiency Network

October 28, 2026

What ideas and initiatives have emerged from the exchanges within your network? Share your experiences and highlight how networking drives businesses forward—at the 10th annual event and beyond.

Energy efficiency isn’t just about new technology. It often begins with a good idea, an open-ended question, or a look at another company—followed by action. This is precisely what drives the energy efficiency networks of the Bavarian Energy Efficiency Network Initiative (BEEN-i). Companies share experiences, highlight proven solutions, and use them to develop concrete steps for their own operations.

Numerous examples from Bavarian networking efforts demonstrate that this approach works:

At Rauschert Heinersdorf-Pressig GmbH, energy-intensive ceramics production meets a clear vision for the future. Among other things, the company focuses on heat recovery, photovoltaics, and new solutions for CO₂-neutral ceramics manufacturing. The CONSINTEC research project is developing and testing a sintering technique with electrically heated firing chambers, designed to enable flexible operations based on the availability of renewable energy.

The Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Network in the Berchtesgadener Land region also demonstrates what can be achieved through continuous collaboration. Companies from the industrial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors have worked together on their energy efficiency initiatives. At a BEEN-i event in the summer of 2026, Wäscherei Abel KG, Agatharied Hospital, and Klosterhof – Alpine Hideaway & Spa openly shared how they have saved energy, optimized operational processes, and reduced costs in the long term. Their shared conclusion: Structured networking pays off technically, economically, and strategically.

These are exactly the kinds of stories we want to highlight!

What idea emerged in your network through exchanges with others? What initiative was launched collaboratively? Where did experiences from the network help you move more quickly from knowledge to action?

The Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks Initiative is seeking out exceptional success stories resulting from networking. Selected networks will have the opportunity to present their experiences at the 10th annual event on February 24, 2027, to representatives from federal ministries and associations. In addition, the stories will be published in a dedicated format and on LinkedIn.

The past ten years of BEEN-i demonstrate how much can be achieved through collaborative learning: In Bavaria, more than 700 companies have joined forces in over 81 networks. This practical exchange helps them pool knowledge, implement energy efficiency measures more quickly, and strengthen their own competitiveness.

Now it’s your turn: Tell us what makes your network special!

Contact us with your success story. Together, we’ll explore how we can highlight your example as part of the nationwide call for submissions.
