The TechHUB SVI
Hub for technology and innovation in the Bavarian security and defense industry
The TechHUB SVI offers the security and defense industry a dynamic networking and support service related to technologies, innovations and projects. The aim of TechHUB SVI is to network Bavarian companies in the SVI sector with scientific institutions and interested companies and start-ups from all sectors of the economy.
The TechHUB SVI is coordinated by Bayern Innovativ GmbH, which has more than 25 years of experience in building industry-specific and, above all, cross-industry networks and supports companies with comprehensive innovation services: from technology scouting and idea generation to the acquisition of cooperation partners from industry and science to funding advice and the launch of new products on the market.
Technology and knowledge transfer is fundamental, not least for companies in the security and defense industry. Until now, developments in this industrial sector have largely been driven forward autonomously. In order to accelerate innovation, it is also important here to transfer existing knowledge and work collaboratively in joint projects with cooperation partners.

With its innovation networks, Bayern Innovativ has outstanding industry and technology knowledge in the five future fields of energy, digitalization, health, materials and mobility - future fields that are also decisive for the innovation activities of the security and defence industry.
With the new thematic field of "security" and the establishment of the TechHUB, Bayern Innovativ is tapping into far-reaching synergies between traditional economic sectors and the security and defense industry. Specifically, the hub will thus become the SVI's point of contact for the entire Bayern Innovativ portfolio of services: from funding advice on state, federal and EU programs; from patent research and technology and trend scouting to joint trade fair stands and networking with other industries.
