Christoph Heinen

Christoph Heinen initially worked for the German Armed Forces between 2005 and 2010, where he completed his training as an automotive mechatronics technician with the involvement of Volkswagen AG.
After his service, he began studying political science at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg.
His fascination for the interplay of digitalization & technology with society & politics led him to the Bamberg Chair for the 'Control of Complex and Innovative Technical Systems', from where he finally registered his master's thesis on the topic: 'Digital policy strategies in Bavaria: a complexity-informed analysis of eleven Bavarian digitization concepts for integrated decision making', while at the same time supporting the ZD.B thematic platform Smart Cities and Regions as a working student.
Since April 2021, Christoph Heinen has been working as a technology transfer manager at the CleanTech Innovation Park Bamberg and, as a manager in the mobility specialization field of Bayern Innovativ GmbH, offers all interested companies direct access to the Bayern Innovativ ecosystem.
He has managed the TechHUB SVI since 2023.
