Metecon GmbH, a partner in the GESUNDHEIT innovation network, has now been around for 25 years. The company has been active on the market for a quarter of a century and supports other companies as a service provider. "25 years is quite a long time. To have created a continuous, positive development over this period to the company that we are today fills me with great joy," says Alexander Fink, founder, owner and Managing Director of Metecon GmbH.
Today, the company is known for consulting and support in the approval of medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics (IVD). Metecon was founded in 1999 - initially as a pure engineering office - and was only steered into its current direction 10 years later through a change in strategy. From then on, the focus was on the expert role for documentation, verification and market access in the field of medical technology and IVD.
In this industry, constant change and development are inevitable. New regulations, innovations and requirements demand a dynamic way of working. This is also one of the things that sets Metecon apart. Fink adds: "Our large, incredibly broad-based team with many different regulatory compliance experts is certainly very helpful for our customers. With our strong service mindset and our project management skills, we solve even complicated regulatory challenges in interdisciplinary teams and provide efficient support during practical implementation."
The regulatory requirements for medical devices are complex and not always easy to keep track of. Special requirements also apply to in-vitro diagnostics. Metecon provides support in both areas with its 25 years of expertise. The company has also been active in the network for many years, as Fink explains: "Over the many years in the former Forum Medtech Pharma e.V. and now in the GESUNDHEIT innovation network at Bayern Innovativ, the exchange within the industry has always been very helpful for us. In particular, the many events on various industry-specific topics offer a good opportunity to exchange ideas with other players in medical technology and learn new things. This has often resulted in long-term relationships and collaborations. In addition, the Bayern Innovativ team knows how to act as a mediator and skilfully brings together people and organizations within the network who can benefit from each other. We have greatly appreciated this since joining in 2002 and say THANK YOU for it today!"
As a partner in Bayern Innovativ's Health Innovation Network, we would like to congratulate Metecon on its anniversary and look forward to many more years of cooperation. We would particularly like to thank Alexander Fink for his many years of commitment as a board member of Forum Medtech Pharma e.V. and look forward to continuing to count on his expertise on the advisory board of the Health Innovation Network.
