A Greek waste management and environmental services company with 30 years of industry experience is seeking commercial partners with innovative robotic or remote-controlled technologies for the identification and removal of asbestos. The company is fully licensed for waste management and asbestos remediation, operates in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 39001, and disposes of more than 2 million kg of industrial waste and asbestos material annually.
Challenge
Despite its extensive in-house expertise—ranging from sampling and analysis to dismantling, removal, and final disposal—the company is reaching the limits of conventional methods in terms of workplace safety and scalability. The goal is to modernize the technology used and establish long-term partnerships to carry out asbestos remediation more safely, quickly, and resource-efficiently. The company aims to introduce new technologies that reduce employees’ direct exposure during the dismantling phase while simultaneously increasing productivity. The focus is on robotic or remote-controlled systems that enable safer and more efficient asbestos removal and can be integrated into real-world remediation scenarios. The company offers to test new, not-yet-market-ready solutions as part of pilot tests and to adapt them jointly to practical applications.
Partners/Partnerships Sought
We are seeking providers of asbestos removal technologies, preferably with systems that have already been field-tested and are available on the market; experimental applications are also welcome. Priority is given to cooperative collaboration with open exchange in order to adapt the technology to real-world operating conditions. Partners may come from both the EU and innovative third countries.
The goal is a commercial agreement with technical assistance. Eligible partner types include R&D institutions, SMEs, and large companies.
