DigiMilchPro in Dialogue – Online Event: "IT Security in Agriculture"
As digitalization in agriculture continues to grow, the issue of IT security is becoming increasingly important for farmers. That’s why the latest edition of “DigiMilchPro im Dialog,” DigiMilchPro’s virtual lecture and discussion series, is focused on “IT Security in Agriculture.” On November 5, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m., researchers from DigiMilchPro and the Fokus Tierwohl network, together with external experts, will present practical knowledge on this topic to help your farm.
The online event will center on the expert presentation “IT Security—A Digital Toolkit for Livestock Farms,” which will include an in-depth Q&A session with the speaker, Dr. Adriana Förschner from the Baden-Württemberg Agricultural Center, open to all participants. In addition, experts from providers of digital technology for agriculture will present the latest insights and developments in cybersecurity related to their products and companies. Here, too, there will be time for your questions following the presentations by Lely, Lemmer-Fullwood, and DeLaval.
IT Security as a Key Issue for Farmers
"Does this benefit farmers? Yes!" Only topics and presentations that pass this quick test make it onto the screen in "DigiMilchPro im Dialog." The current issue includes answers to questions such as: What can and must I do on my livestock farm to protect my network, computer systems, or robots from theft or damage to hardware and software? How can I prevent interruptions or misuse of the services and functions I use? How can I protect my data?

- 7:15 – 8:15 p.m.: Presentation “IT Security – A Digital Toolkit for Livestock Farms” by Dr. Adriana Förschner (Baden-Württemberg Agricultural Research Center, LAZBW). Followed by: Your questions for Dr. Förschner.
- 8:15 – 8:45 p.m.: Experts from Lely, Lemmer-Fullwood, and DeLaval will discuss cybersecurity for their products. Following the presentation: Q&A with the company representatives.
