CMA, AI production network and RECENTRE at Robo-Night
Joint presence in Marktoberdorf
12.02.2026
Strong together for robotics and Industry 5.0: the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster, the Augsburg AI Production Network and the EU project RECENTRE were jointly represented at the 1st Robo-Night 2026 - Robotics in Logistics at the Institute for Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Marktoberdorf. The event provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas on innovative solutions for digitalization, automation and robotics in the industrial environment.
Three Bayern Innovativ units took advantage of the synergies around the topic of robotics and presented themselves together at the Robo-Night in Marktoberdorf. There was not only space for presentations on the topic of robotics in logistics, but also for a direct exchange between users, developers, research institutions and companies. The focus was on practical demonstrations and the discussion of current challenges, particularly in the context of increasing digitalization and the shortage of skilled workers in logistics and production.
The joint appearance showed the synergies between the players: RECENTRE provides support for the transformation to Industry 5.0 in production, the AI Production Network Augsburg contributes valuable expertise on fields of application of artificial intelligence along the value chain, while the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster of Bayern Innovativ uses its strong network of business and science to transfer automation and mechatronics solutions into practice.
At ROBO Night 2026, network players came into contact with manufacturers of robotics solutions, who were invited to present their products and offer interactive demonstrations. The focus was not only on theoretical knowledge, but above all on experiencing and trying out the technologies on site. A particular highlight was the presentation of Filics' innovative skid system, which addresses challenges such as lack of space or capacity bottlenecks in logistics environments, as well as additional logistics solutions such as autonomous MiR Shelf Carriers and palletizing solutions.
