Dr. Oliver Böhm

Oliver Böhm started his professional life with an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, gaining technical knowledge and practical experience as a basis for his role as technology transfer manager. This was followed by a degree in Physical Geography at the University of Augsburg. This was followed by twelve years of research and teaching in the field of climate research at the Chair of Physical Geography and Quantitative Methods, in connection with the topics of sustainability, resilience and environmental protection. In this context, statistics and data analysis were constant companions and are now a further pillar for the study of artificial intelligence. Since 2015, Dr. Oliver Böhm has been employed by a private technology service provider, where he was intensively involved in the transfer of knowledge and technologies between research and industry.
Since May 2021, he has been responsible for active network management at Bayern Innovativ as Technology Transfer Manager at the Augsburg site, which ensures the identification of cooperation partners from research and industry and the identification of partners for collaborative research projects.
