"Rüdiger Pryss is a professor of medical informatics at the Institute for Clinical Epidemiology and Biometry at the University of Würzburg and at the Institute for Medical Data Science at the University Hospital of Würzburg. With over ten years of research experience at the intersection of medicine, psychology, and computer science, his research focuses on digital health, ecological informatics, artificial intelligence in medicine, mobile computing, and medical informatics.

He has co-developed more than 20 digital applications, including the eSano platform, which was used in the large-scale PSYCHOnlineTHERAPY study on digital psychotherapy. In addition to his academic work, Rüdiger Pryss is active in politics and business, including as a member of the advisory board of the Bavarian Innovation Alliance for Health and as a co-founder of a startup focused on integrating digital technologies into healthcare. He is also a member of the DIN standards group for artificial intelligence in medicine and, together with his team, develops digital health applications in accordance with the requirements of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR)."
