Hubert Würschinger is an engineer and active networker who brings people and ideas together - especially at the interface of engineering and artificial intelligence. With experience from applied research and the automotive industry, he combines a sound understanding of systems with innovative AI approaches. His goal is to promote interdisciplinary dialog, make potentials visible and jointly develop solutions for a sustainable industry - especially in the context of new technologies and cleantech.

He studied industrial engineering at OTH Amberg-Weiden and mechanical and industrial engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. After graduating, he worked for several years as a process engineer at Continental in Nuremberg, where he co-developed and supervised manufacturing processes for the series production of electric drive systems in the automotive industry.

He then worked as a research assistant at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. There he researched acoustic processes in the field of tool condition monitoring and taught in the areas of machine learning, lean production and resource-efficient production systems.

For several years, he has been involved as spokesperson for the Artificial Intelligence Network in the VDI District Association of Bavaria North-East and promotes practical exchange between research, industry and society.

Hubert Würschinger has been Head of the Cleantech Cluster in Hallstadt near Bamberg since the end of June 2025. In this role, he drives technological change - by promoting sustainable technologies, integrating new technologies into operational practice and networking regional players in a targeted manner.
