Position: Consultant for Knowledge and Technology Transfer

Dr. Annika-Kathrin Belz brings in-depth scientific expertise and many years of experience at the interface of research, social transformation and innovation practice. After studying geography at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and international stays in Mexico, England and Slovakia, she completed her doctorate in geography on the transformation of the energy transition at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2020.

She has been working in academia for over ten years, including several years as a research assistant at LMU Munich. Professional positions in start-ups and regional innovation initiatives expanded her profile with skills in communication, project management and business development.

Since 2021, she has been a consultant for knowledge and technology transfer at dtec.bw at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. There she supports interdisciplinary innovation projects and promotes the networking of science, business, the Bundeswehr and start-ups - with a particular focus on strategic cooperation in the field of defense & security. Her aim is to transfer scientific findings into practice in a targeted manner and make them effective in key transformation fields such as digitalization and security.
