Security innovation network: The home for holistic sovereignty

At a time when technological cycles are massively accelerating and threat scenarios often arise faster than traditional processes can react, the ability to adapt quickly is the life insurance of our democracy. The Security Innovation Network is the central Bavarian and national level at which all activities in the area of internal and external security are bundled.

We do not see security as a static state, but as the result of permanent innovation. As a strategic umbrella, the network combines the expertise of the external and internal security sub-sectors in order to break down technological silos and harness synergies between the civilian and military worlds. The thematic boundaries between external and internal security are fluid.

External Security (TechHUB SVI)

We are driving forward the defense capability of the Federal Republic of Germany by systematically translating civilian innovation potential into operational impact for the troops. In specialized streams - from Unmanned Systems to Military Robotics and Space - we are consistently driving technological maturity forward.

Internal security

We strengthen national and societal resilience to hybrid threats. The focus is on protecting critical infrastructures (KRITIS) and securing digital spaces through cyber protection as well as modern solutions for civil protection.

Effect through implementation

The innovation network is not just a discussion platform, but a workbench for the security technologies of tomorrow. Through our specialized formats such as the DefTech Forges, we accompany projects from the initial idea to the functional solution that can withstand real conditions in the field.
