The semiconductor network in Bavaria

The Bavarian Chips Alliance is part of the Bavarian Semiconductor Initiative of the State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. It networks the semiconductor industry and consolidates Bavaria's position as a location for technology and innovation.

Bavarian Chips Alliance: jointly shaping a semiconductor ecosystem

Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger launched the Bavarian Semiconductor Initiative in fall 2021 to strengthen Bavaria as a business location for the semiconductor industry. The Bavarian Chips Alliance network is one of its main pillars.

The aim of our network is to connect experts along the value chains for semiconductors, electronics and user industries and to initiate collaborations . Bayern Innovativ coordinates the Bavarian Chips Alliance, integrates existing cluster and network structures and brings together the relevant players to form a Bavaria-wide semiconductor ecosystem. Through regional, national and international networking, we create synergies and strengthen innovation potential.
