Strengthening and promoting the competitiveness of the Bavarian economy is a key priority of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. For this reason, the “European Standardization and Quality Assurance” working group was established more than two decades ago. Representatives from the relevant authorities, testing institutes, standards organizations, and trade associations work closely together here, with the specific goal of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in particular in implementing modern management systems and complying with the European Union’s product safety regulations.
The “European Standardization and Quality Assurance” working group develops guidance documents on the application of EU directives and regulations regarding CE marking.
