In recent years, the Vehicle Wiring Systems Cooperation Forum has become a permanent fixture in the wiring systems sector. The Vehicle Wiring Systems 2025 Cooperation Forum also impressively demonstrated the extent to which vehicle wiring system architectures are changing in the wake of new technological developments and how important standardized, modular and cooperative approaches are for future design.

The On-Board Electrical Systems 2025 cooperation forum highlighted the extent to which the wiring system is changing in the wake of new technological developments. The focus was on topics such as zonal architectures, intelligent control systems and the automation of test scenarios. It became clear that the future of the vehicle electrical system must be standardized, modular and cooperative in order to shorten development times and avoid interface problems.
Impulses from international markets, especially from China, illustrated how agile development processes and integrated supply chains as well as the simulation of components and systems can increase the speed of innovation. The increasing electrification of vehicles also requires new solutions for energy distribution, safety and thermal management; cybersecurity is also increasingly on the agenda, as data communication must be ensured.
