Dr. Andreas Böhm

Dr. Andreas Böhm is a physicist with a degree in solid state physics. In 2003, he completed his doctorate in molecular biophysics at the University of Frankfurt.
In industry, Dr. Andreas Böhm worked for several years at one of the world's largest automotive suppliers in the development of engine control units. He also gained extensive experience in the management of complex projects at Robert Bosch GmbH.
Dr. Andreas Böhm has been working at Bayern Innovativ GmbH since 2007, where he headed the Automotive Cluster from 2012 to July 2020. His main focus was on coordinating the future topics of automotive wiring systems and autonomous driving. He is the technical head of the working group "AK ASIL im Bordnetz", whose results flow into a technical guide in cooperation with the ZVEI.
He is currently setting up the quantum technology field for Bayern Innovativ GmbH in order to promote cooperation between research and industry in this future topic.
