After completing his apprenticeship as a bank clerk, Matthias Mederer studied ‘Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering’ at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

Following his studies, he worked for an automotive services provider in Ingolstadt for around seven years. His areas of responsibility initially included the duties of a project engineer on various electrical/electronic (EE) development projects in the field of seat occupancy detection and driver assistance systems; he later also took on a team leadership role. With his ‘Vehicle Testing’ team, he was responsible for the validation and integration of various EE systems at the complete vehicle level.

At Bayern Innovativ, Matthias Mederer works in the Automotive Cluster as a Technology Project Manager, specialising in driver assistance systems and vehicle electrical systems.
