Creativity and Technology: Perspectives on a Shared Future

The digital information event “Creativity and Technology: Perspectives on a Shared Future” focuses on how creativity and technology together enable innovation, new business models, and value creation.

Today, creativity and technology influence each other more than ever before. While artificial intelligence and digital tools are transforming creative processes, technological innovations often arise from creative ways of thinking, new applications, and cultural impulses.

As part of this joint online information event, the Cultural Policy Lab and Bayern Innovativ will present current perspectives on the interplay between creativity, technology, and innovation. Dr. Christian Steinau will present key findings from the study “Smart Creativity – AI in the Cultural and Creative Industries,” published by the Bavarian Industry Association (vbw) in cooperation with the Bavarian State Association of the Cultural and Creative Industries (BLVKK).

Following this, Bayern Innovativ’s new CreativeTechHUB will provide insights into the innovation field of Creative Tech and demonstrate how new potential for value creation, business models, and collaborations is emerging at the intersections of the creative industries, technology, and innovation.

The event also offers a preview of the Creative Industries Forum, which will take place two weeks later, on November 10, 2026, and will further deepen the discussion with opinion leaders and key players from the cultural, creative, and technology sectors.
