“Resilient Supply Chains” is a key topic through which the Bavarian Chips Alliance supports Bavarian companies in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Join us on September 29, 2026, for the workshop at Texas Instruments in Freising to gain the latest insights from all stages of the supply chain and develop practical recommendations for the next allocation phase.

Between 2019 and 2023, the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and geopolitical tensions caused significant disruptions in global supply chains, resulting in a worldwide chip shortage. The resulting bullwhip effect led to excess inventory of electronic components among OEMs, CMs, and EMS providers in the SME sector.

With the workshop on September 29, 2026, in Freising, we aim to revisit the topic of supply chain management to discuss lessons learned and analyze how data transparency influences the efficiency of inventory management.

We aim to develop practical strategies to support SMEs in the efficient management and sustainable optimization of their inventories while simultaneously promoting the circular economy.

You can expect expert presentations from all stages of the value chain—IDM, distributors, end customers (global corporations and SMEs)—as well as from an academic perspective, including contributions from Texas Instruments, Infineon, AVNET, BMW, STW-Sensortechnik Wiedemann, the Fraunhofer Society, and the Technical University of Munich. The host, Texas Instruments, will offer a factory tour at the conclusion of the workshop.

Participation is free of charge.
