Healthtech Innovation Insight: PETRA-AI — How Can AI Provide Reliable Support During Perimenopause?

Perimenopause brings with it new symptoms, uncertainties, and a great need for information. But how can health information be communicated in a way that is understandable, evidence-based, and trustworthy?

This is where the PETRA-AI research project comes in: Together with those affected and interdisciplinary partners, an AI-powered chatbot is being developed that can provide low-threshold guidance and, for example, help women understand their symptoms. Another goal is to help women prepare for conversations with doctors—without replacing medical advice.

In this webinar, we’ll provide insights into the project and the user-centered development process. We’ll discuss the opportunities AI offers for women’s health and the requirements for trustworthy AI applications that are suitable for everyday use.
