Get a comprehensive overview of the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230!

Stakeholders in the machinery sector should familiarize themselves with the changes well in advance, as the new requirements will take time to implement. This workshop will present the contents of the EU Machinery Regulation, particularly with regard to the changes compared to the currently applicable Machinery Directive.
The focus will be on the practical implementation of the revised requirements.

Please note: To get the most out of the seminar, a basic understanding of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the fundamentals of CE marking is required. If needed, feel free to take a look at our CE fact sheets or schedule a consultation with us here.

Topics

  • What changes are being made to the general regulations for machinery?
  • What new safety and health protection requirements have been added?
  • How do I carry out the steps for CE marking?
  • What needs to be added to the risk assessment?
  • What technical documentation must be provided as proof of conformity?
  • What new regulations apply to the operating and assembly instructions?
  • What must the new EU Declaration of Conformity look like?
  • What information must the machine marking contain?
  • What are the cross-references to other EU regulations, such as the AI Regulation or the Cyber Resilience Regulation?
