Support for Industry 5.0 Transformation Launched

As part of the European RECENTRE project, the first companies are now receiving support as they transition toward resilient and sustainable production. Bavaria is also actively involved with two companies and will support them with expert guidance over the coming months.

On September 21 and 22, the partners of the European RECENTRE project gathered in Strasbourg to discuss the project’s current progress and coordinate their next joint activities. The meeting was hosted by the CCI Alsace Eurométropole.

The two-day event focused on an in-depth exchange among the project partners regarding ongoing measures to support the transformation of the manufacturing sector. Participants took the opportunity to share experiences from their regions, reflect on current developments in the pilot activities, and jointly prepare the next steps for the project. In particular, they discussed the planned contributions from the partner organizations as well as further collaboration within the consortium.

The meeting provided an important framework for further strengthening international cooperation within the project and developing joint solutions to the challenges of industrial transformation. Through regular exchanges between the partner regions, RECENTRE promotes the transfer of experiences and best practices and supports the development of resilient and sustainable manufacturing locations in Europe.

The results of the meeting will be incorporated into the project’s ongoing work and will support the implementation of regional activities in the participating partner regions. RECENTRE is thus making an important contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of European manufacturing companies and to successfully shaping the transition toward a sustainable and resilient industry.
