On 01.01.2024, the EU Interreg project DECORATOR was officially launched. It aims to drive forward the circular transformation in the construction sector in the Danube region. DECORATOR sees the Danube region as a living real-world laboratory in which innovative tools are available for research and testing in order to overcome the challenges of the circular economy. These include ecological, technical, socio-cultural and economic aspects - a holistic approach for a sustainable future.
The Danube region as a unique ecosystem is the focus of the project. Over the next 30 months, the thirteen project partners from the Danube region will be working to achieve the goal of a new way of building in harmony with the circular economy.
