The Enterprise Europe Network informs:
Bavarian companies wishing to enter new foreign markets will benefit even more easily from the Go International funding program. The program, which is funded by the Free State of Bavaria and the EU, specifically supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and freelancers in their international market entry - with simplified application modalities.
Funding is provided for the implementation of individual measures. These include, for example
- First-time participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions
- Creation or translation of company-specific publications (flyers, posters)
- Product certifications
- Advertising measures abroad (website and flyer translations)
- Internal staff training measures
- Online advertising measures such as SEA
Up to two target countries are funded per company. The prerequisite is that the company has not yet been active in these countries. Grants of up to EUR 30,000 or EUR 20,000 (Greater Munich area) are available per country. The funding period for each country is 12 months.
The entire application process has been significantly simplified so that companies can benefit from the financial advantages more quickly and easily.
The program has already proven its worth: In the last funding period (2015-2023), around 300 companies were supported with over 2 million euros. Due to the positive response, the funding has not only been continued, but also improved.
Interested companies can submit their applications online.
Further information on the funding regulations and all necessary forms are available on the official website. The Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce and Chambers of Crafts are available for advice and support companies with their applications.
