Lichtblick E-Mobility GmbH is planning to install over 200 fast-charging points at Famila and Markant supermarkets in northern Germany by the end of 2025.

Lichtblick E-Mobility plans to build charging points with a capacity of up to 400 kW each at more than 25 Famila and Markant supermarkets. According to the company, construction of the first fast-charging stations is expected to begin in July. Other traction current providers are to be enabled to pass on their electricity at these charging stations. The partner is the Bela trading group.

Simon Schröder, Manager Sales at Lichtblick E-Mobility, explained: "We are taking over the complete construction and operation of the fast-charging stations." According to Schröder, this means reliable availability of charging power for the partners - without risk and with little effort on their part.

"The Famila and Markant stores are conveniently located and therefore ideally suited for the expansion of the e-charging network," added Kevin Wiegand, project manager at Holding Bela. In future, customers will be able to charge their e-vehicles while shopping, he emphasized.

Lichtblick E-Mobility offers private customers charging tariffs for at home and on the move as well as wallboxes. It is part of the energy service provider Lichtblick, which claims to have 1.7 million customers in Germany.
