The international conference INTELEC 2026 will take place from September 20 to 23, 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany.
The "43rd International Telecommunications and Critical Infrastructure Energy Conference" is considered one of the most important international events for energy supply systems in telecommunications, data centers and critical infrastructures.
The focus is on resilient, efficient and sustainable energy solutions for modern communication networks and digital infrastructures. Topics such as energy storage, DC and AC systems, data centers, renewable energies, smart grids, battery systems, edge infrastructures and energy supply for 5G and 6G networks will be discussed. Cybersecurity, AI-supported system control and e-mobility interfaces are also on the agenda.
A special focus is on the international call for papers. Researchers, companies and experts from industry and academia can submit their abstracts until May 31, 2026. The full papers will then be evaluated via the official INTELEC submission process and published in the IEEE Xplore environment. The final manuscripts should be submitted by July 2026.
In addition to scientific papers, the program includes technical talks, tutorials, panel discussions and industry presentations. The event also offers opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitions. Due to limited exhibition space, the organizers recommend early registration.
With its strong energy and power electronics industry, Nuremberg is considered the ideal venue for the conference. The event aims to promote international exchange on resilient and climate-friendly energy systems for the digital infrastructure of the future.
