The VDI conference "Hybrid Parks: Photovoltaics, Wind and Storage in Interaction" will focus on how photovoltaic, wind power and storage systems can be efficiently combined to form an overall system.
The event will show how hybrid energy systems can contribute to security of supply, grid stability and the economic viability of the energy transition.
Against the backdrop of rising electricity demand from electromobility, heat pumps and data centers, hybrid parks are becoming increasingly important. By intelligently combining different renewable technologies, fluctuations in generation can be balanced out, grid connections can be used more efficiently and new business models can be developed.
The conference is aimed at operators, project planners, manufacturers and planning offices and highlights the technical, economic and regulatory aspects of hybrid systems. The program includes storage technologies, system integration, grid neutrality, legal framework conditions, financing as well as practical and field reports from implemented projects. The event will be complemented by a get-together for professional exchange.
The day before, there will also be a VDI special day on noise immissions from renewable energy systems, which will provide the legal basis and practical methods for noise assessment. A combined discount is offered if both events are booked together.
