The Future Technology Days, an initiative coordinated by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry via the Enterprise Europe Network, aims to promote cooperation between large French companies in the aerospace sector and European SMEs, start-ups and research institutions.

To this end, specific needs of French companies are communicated, to which companies or research institutions can apply very easily with a one-pager. Airbus Space and Defense is an active partner in the current round of tenders.

The three main topics of the current challenge are:

• Defense - operational capabilities and resilience in the battlefield, development of new drone technologies, secure communication systems and advanced sensor technology
• Energy - innovative use of satellite data for monitoring energy infrastructures and
• Satellite production - acceleration and optimization, new approaches to space utilization in final assembly, innovative panel integrations and advanced thermal simulations

With these tenders, Airbus Space & Defense aims not only to expand its technological leadership, but also to develop sustainable, international partnerships and new business areas.

Companies and research institutes can submit low-threshold applications via a predefined one-pager application form. The application deadline for the second part of the Future Technology Days is July 11.

In the first two editions, 38% of applications led to B2B meetings. Since October 2023, 38 collaborations or advanced negotiations have been initiated with companies and institutes from 11 countries.
