Augsburg Technology Center and IEC Tehnopolis sign LOI

RTIT project leads to longer-term cooperation between partners

06.05.2026

We are delighted that our RTIT project has led to a long-term cooperation between Bavaria and Montenegro. A Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed at the Transnational Pilot in Augsburg.

During the RTIT Study Visit and Transnational Pilot in Augsburg, the Augsburg Technology Center (Germany) and IEC Tehnopolis (Montenegro) signed a Letter of Intent, laying the foundation for close cooperation in the future.

Anđela Nikčević and Wolfgang Hehl jointly launched this important agreement on site. The aim of the partnership is to intensify the exchange of experience, provide joint support to customers and further develop technology transfer.

For our RTIT project, this is a great success in terms of consolidating cooperation and a strong signal for further international cooperation, innovation and the sustainable impact of European projects.

As part of the knowledge transfer in the Danube region, the RTIT project presents international network partners who provide decisive impetus for material innovations. RTIT contributes to transferring research results into industrial applications more quickly, strengthening cross-border cooperation and closing existing innovation gaps with leading EU regions.
