Vincenz Regener has been a Senior Research Consultant at the Research Center for Energy Economics (FfE) in Munich since 2020. His work focuses on electricity market design, regulation, and the grid-oriented integration of energy storage systems. He currently leads the project at the FfE to support the implementation of the electricity storage strategy for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the Large-Scale Battery Storage Cooperation Forum, and the BDL Next research project on bidirectional charging. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on energy technology from RWTH Aachen University and the Technical University of Munich.
