Sophia Wenzel completed her Bachelor's degree in "Communication Science" at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg and her Master's degree in "Health Communication" at the University of Erfurt.

After her studies, she worked for several years in project management for healthcare marketing communication for national and international campaigns in the fields of oncology, pharma, medtech and patient communication.

Sophia Wenzel has been working for the marketing and communication activities of Bayern Innovativ's healthcare division since September 2024. Her topics also include education, prevention and digitalization.
