Matthias Ullmann is a trained architectural draftsman and a state-certified physical therapist. After studying civil engineering with a focus on hydraulic engineering at the Siegen University of Applied Sciences for several years, he changed course and, through his work as a physical therapist, moved into the field of therapy management.
In outpatient, rehabilitation, and inpatient medical facilities, he developed digital solutions and implemented them, as well as external solutions, including those under the KHZG.
Among other things, he was responsible for the construction and digitization of a psychiatric clinic and headed the central therapy and project management for a large regional hospital network.

Matthias Ullmann has been part of the healthcare network at Bayern Innovativ since February 2024, leads the EDIH DigiCare project, and is responsible for a portion of the team from a disciplinary perspective.
