Dr. Fabian Buder heads the "Future & Trends" research group at the Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions (NIM). In his research, he examines how consumer behavior is changing as a result of technological developments and social trends and what impact this has on decisions in markets. A particular focus of his work is the analysis of how digital technologies - especially artificial intelligence (AI) - influence consumer behavior and thus fundamentally change decision-making processes in marketing. He also works intensively on the future role of virtual worlds (metaverses) in the context of consumer behavior and marketing strategies. In addition to his work at the NIM, he is a Research Affiliate at the Institute for the Future (IFTF) in Palo Alto, USA.
