Cita Desch completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in medical technology at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. During this time, she worked as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

After completing her studies, she worked as a technical consultant in the field sales team of an international medical technology company specialising in navigation, imaging and robotics in neurosurgery and trauma surgery.

Cita Desch has been with Projektträger Bayern since August 2020. As a technology project manager, she is primarily responsible for funding medical technology projects.
