Astrid Lang holds a degree in materials engineering.

She spent more than 10 years working in industry for one of the world's largest sporting goods manufacturers, the adidas Group, developing materials for the sports industry and gaining extensive experience in managing global projects.

Astrid Lang has been working in various areas at Bayern Innovativ GmbH since 2012. She currently manages the technology field of glass and ceramics in the New Materials cluster and supports the Additive Manufacturing Coordination Office and the Enterprise Europe Network with the IMProve innovation service.
