Astrid Köppel is a landscape architect, regional and organizational developer, and is not afraid of complexity or uncertainty. These can be valuable resources if we ask the right questions instead of hastily providing answers based on past experiences. As a networker, she brings ideas and people together. Her credo is to open up spaces of possibility and take nonlinear paths rather than being bound by past choices. From 2019 to 2021, Astrid Köppel led the Fichtelgebirge Creative Industries Forum, a joint project between KÜKO —the Fichtelgebirge Creative Enterprises Network—and the district of Wunsiedel i. F., and is therefore particularly familiar with the needs and unique characteristics of the cultural and creative industries in rural areas.
