Dr.-Ing. Andrej Guminski has been Managing Director of FfE GmbH since 2021. Since 2023, he has been an honorary member of the board of the Society for Energy Science and Energy Policy (GEE). Internationally, he regularly represents FfE in expert groups of the International Energy Agency (IEA) on the topics of industrial electrification and system integration of wind power. He completed his doctorate on “CO2 reduction in the European industrial sector” with distinction at the Technical University of Munich in 2022. His dissertation also won the VDI Prize 2022 and the University Prize of the Bavarian Solar Energy Promotion Association. In his role as a scientist and consultant in the energy transition, he has recently led and worked on a large number of research and consulting projects with a focus on greenhouse gas reduction in industry, energy system analysis & scenarios, electrification, load flexibilization, hydrogen, CO2 capture and synthetic fuels.
