Andreas Gaugenrieder is the group leader of the “Engineering of Adaptive Production Systems” group at Fraunhofer IGCV. After completing an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician and further training to become a state-certified mechatronics technician, he studied mechatronics at the universities of Augsburg and Munich. His professional experience in maintenance, energy management, and automation—including a role as Head of Technical Service Infrastructure at Zott SE & Co. KG—shapes his current research, which focuses on adaptive production systems.
