Dr. Andreas Böhm
Dr. Andreas Böhm is a physicist with a degree in solid state physics. He completed his doctorate in molecular biophysics at the University of Frankfurt in 2003.
In industry, Dr. Andreas Böhm worked for several years at one of the world's largest automotive suppliers in the development of engine control units. He also gained extensive experience in the management of complex projects at Robert Bosch GmbH.
Dr. Andreas Böhm has been working at Bayern Innovativ GmbH since 2007, where he headed the Automotive Cluster from 2012 to July 2020. He also coordinated the E/E topics "automotive vehicle electrical system" and "highly automated driving", and the "AK ASIL-Metrik im Bordnetz" working group, the results of which were incorporated into a technical guide in cooperation with the ZVEI.
From 2020, he built up the quantum technology field for Bayern Innovativ GmbH in order to promote cooperation between research and industry in this future topic.
The established network addresses quantum technology to industry as a) a user and b) as a supplier for the quantum ecosystem and its enabling technologies.
In addition, he drives future topics as a technology scout, e.g. for neuromorphic and photonic computing with regard to their applications in industry.
His interdisciplinary interests bridge the arts, cultural and creative industries in the context of digitalization / AI / quantum.
