FusionX:Global in Munich has shown: The global fusion ecosystem is rapidly gaining momentum. Bavaria and Germany are among the leading locations with innovative start-ups, political backing and a strong industrial and capital base.

Bavarian fusion: a growing ecosystem
The discussions during FusionX:Global made one thing clear: the industrialization of fusion is picking up speed worldwide. In particular, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Free State of Bavaria, Proxima Fusion and the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (each from Bavaria) and RWE will set a decisive course for the 2030s with the "Alpha" demonstrator and "Stellaris" reactor.
At Bayern Innovativ, we are working to further strengthen this ecosystem: through networking, visibility and new collaborations along the entire fusion value chain.
