Waxar, founded in 2007, develops and sells high-end backup solutions. The new development Waxar ImageStick includes the patented backup technology DeviceImage, which is platform-independent and backs up all data from the production-relevant data carrier of the industrial PC. This enables the exact recovery of the IPC including system functionality and all data. The development of DeviceImage and all solutions as well as the support come from Germany.

Waxar ImageStick enables manufacturing companies to independently and quickly restore data that has become unusable due to hardware failures or malicious code, thus reducing the downtime of their systems. The backup software is integrated into a USB stick and creates a copy of the data on that stick. No other storage media is needed. Backup and restore are done in minutes. High-level automation makes special IT knowledge unnecessary for operation.
