SOOMIQ continues to develop the globally patented PowerQube ORC system together with leading research and development partners until it is ready for series production, in order to offer our customers an economically viable and attractive solution for the conversion of unused process waste heat and waste gases into electricity. The PowerQube energy power plant is based on Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology and efficiently converts unused waste heat in the production process of SME's and industry into clean electricity that can be immediately used again in the company.

SOOMIQ with the 20 kWel PowerQube ORC system is currently focusing on waste heat utilization possibilities in the temperature band of 120 - 150 °C, which is the temperature range that has so far gone unused "down the chimney" at many manufacturing companies. A further development goal is to bring to market a small, compact and lightweight ORC system that is also stackable and modularly expandable and easy to integrate into existing structures.
