Smart City System GmbH is a company from Fürth with the vision of creating the ideal infrastructure for smart cities. The company was founded in Nuremberg on Jan. 13, 2017. The 45-member team develops reliable, low-maintenance sensors produced in Germany that can be installed on a wide variety of parking surfaces. After installation, software applications can be used to monitor and control the occupancy status of the parking areas in real time. At the same time, it is possible for customers to integrate the data into their own existing systems.

Smart City System is currently supporting regional transport associations, cities, parking operators and energy providers with their smart city solutions. More than 49,000 sensors have already been installed in Germany and Europe. As a result, numerous customers have already been able to successfully digitize their parking areas and generate added value for themselves and the users.
