At this year's SENSOR + TEST in Nuremberg, the SENSODRIVE GmbH from Wessling near Munich presents for the first time publicly its product novelty SENSO-Joint - a sensor-controlled, torque-controlled drive module, which manufacturers of cobots and robots can integrate out of the box in their sensitive robotics solutions.

With its patented torque sensors, the SENSODRIVE GmbH has prepared the way for the MRK robotics in 2003. SENSODRIVE torque technology is now in the cobots of numerous well-known manufacturers of industrial and medical robots. With the SENSO-Joints now presented at TEST + SENSOR, the Wesslingen-based high-tech company is making this innovative technology available for the first time in a complete drive.

SENSO-Joints make the development and construction of sensitive robotics solutions faster, easier and more efficient than ever before - this is the promise of the Wesslingen-based robotics experts. Because according to Managing Director Nobert Sporer, manufacturers of cobots and robots can not only integrate the innovative Plug & Play drive unit out of the box into their robotics solutions - they also receive drive technology that is a global market leader.

SENSO-Joints combine the advantages of a sensor-controlled, torque-regulated drive with an extremely lightweight and space-saving compact design that is characterized by robustness and performance in equal measure. Available in five sizes and power ratings, the drive units will also be fully safety-certified to the most important international safety standards from quarter 3/2022. "We offer our customers "Plug & Play" instead of long development times, elaborate certification processes and high development costs," promises Norbert Sporer.
